Willowbrook Events Ltd was founded in 2023 with a simple, heartfelt realisation: we are fortunate enough to live in this beautiful corner of Northamptonshire, and we wanted to share it with the community.
What started as a private passion has grown into a professional rural venue hire business, providing an exclusive and private setting for any occasion. With various hire options, whether that be exclusive hire or hire of specifically tailored areas, the space is yours, and yours alone, to bring your vision to life.
While the farm began as a private venture, to solidify our commitment to the local community, in 2024 we established Willowbrook Community Farm (CIC) Ltd.
We believe nature should be a right, not a privilege. By collaborating with local wellbeing providers and community partners, we provide a peaceful, natural resource for the community to connect, heal and grow through dedicated workshops.
We are constantly growing. Thanks to the Rural England Prosperity Fund and North Northamptonshire Council, we have undergone significant transformations. In 2025, we secured vital capital funding to install modern, eco-friendly sewerage treatment and a fully accessible toilet and shower block, ensuring our “rustic” setting never compromises on comfort or inclusivity.
Our vision has also been championed by local and national trusts and we are incredibly grateful for the support of:
The Apethorpe Trust
Maud Elkington Trust
The Nineveh Trust
North Northamptonshire Council Community Grants
This support has allowed us to build our play mounds, tunnels, our large-scale greenhouse, ensuring that whether you are here to learn or for a therapy session, the facilities are designed with your wellbeing at the forefront.
With the support from the grants, 2026 will bring our exciting new projects to completion, which will further enhance our offer to the community:
Toilet facility with shower and disabled WC – completion target date April/May 2026
Outdoor trim trail installation – completion target date April/May 2026
We are currently applying for grants to enable us to build an outdoor classroom in the wooded area complete with seating and a central fire pit. This would allow year-round use creating a 100% outdoor learning experience.
We welcome contact from any individual or group who could see the benefits of using our venue to support the health and wellbeing of others.
We have:
✓ £5M Public Liability insurance
✓ Accessible Facilities
✓ Professional Risk Assessments
✓ Exclusive Site Hire
✓ Car parking
✓ Disabled toilet (coming soon)
Photos can capture the view, but they can’t capture the peace of the River Ise or the spirit of our farm. Whether you are planning the wedding of your dreams, a school trip, or a community project, we would love to show you around.
